Sharjah Girl Guides aims to enlist in each girl and young woman the value of volunteer work and giving back to the community. It is more than doing a job, it is about serving the community and lending a hand to others sharing your knowledge and skills with others. By volunteering with SGG you will become a member of our family; where all talents, skills and knowledge are appreciated.There are many ways you can participate! You can choose from the many volunteering opportunities such as simple administrative tasks, girls’ supervision, being a unit leader or you can be an instructor in one of our workshops or programs that fall in your area of expertise. You will develop various new skills such as event management, training, mentoring and communication skills. You will make lifetime friends and enjoy exciting fun-filled activities. You will also be developed as a leader and pass on your skills to girls and young women. And guess what? All our volunteers will get together at the end of every year and celebrate all the amazing work they have done on the “International Day of Volunteers” where they will be awarded certificates of participation in a special ceremony.
